Mechanical
Properties
As a result of the laminating process using PVB-foil that
has a tear resistance of > 20 N/mm² and a stretch capability
of > 250 %, a guarantee can be given, that in the event
of glass damage, the glass fragments will remain bonded
with the foil . This ensures, on one hand that the potential
injury risk is substantiallly reduced and on the other
hand, that the sructural integrity still remains largely
in tact even after the element has been damaged.
