Walk-on laminated safety glass, typically used for walk-through purposes. The type of glass compound used and the corresponding building setting depend on glass geometry, storage and use.
ertex WALK consists of at least two single panes, combined into a fixed unit with a viscoplastic, highly tear-resistant intermediate PVB layer during the normatively mandated LSG production process (ÖNORM EN 14449) using an autoclave. ertex WALK meets the standardised conditions for LSG used in horizontal glazing applications.
Walk-on glazing applications
Glazing applications, typically used for walk-through purposes. The glazed units must be made exclusively from LSG and coated with an additional wear layer that must not affect the load-bearing safety of the glass. The wear layer is not required for the usage categories A and B (according to ÖNORM B 1991-1-1).

Safety in use
The required wear layer and any slip-protection measures must already have been agreed upon in the planning and commissioning stages of the project.
The building legislation and ÖNORM B 1600_Barrier-free construction provide for a sufficient number of anti-slip surfaces in building access areas and in corridors and stairways in generally accessible areas to avoid accidents from slipping.
